The Recreation Area boasts 96 secured kennels, a 24-stall horse barn, waterfowl ponds with launch peninsula, a kitchen, and virtually everything you need for time away from the business of life in the fast lane.



3. The Congressional Medal of Honor Museum-When in Charleston, take some time to remember those who have received America's highest honor. You can learn about life in the war zone as you walk through the Combat Tunnel Exhibit, see displays on the lives of the American Heroes who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms, and experience the hands-on displays that pay homage to America's fallen soldiers.



4. Carolina Camper Cabins (Lake Hartwell State Park, Fair Play, SC)-If you love getting back to nature, but don't have a tent-or merely don't want to pack one-book your place here. Located on Lake Hartwell, the cabins contain bunk beds, a double bed, heating, air conditioning, and electricity, but not indoor plumbing. Outside is a fire ring, a grill and there are comfort stations nearby. At Hartwell State Park you can enjoy boating, hiking, fishing and many other outdoor activities.



5. Champion Cultural Center-This is one of Spartanburg's latest event locations. Here you can enjoy theatre productions, art exhibitions, musical performances, science and history displays and a variety of other events and programs.
